Hosted by La Asociación de Ingenieros Navales y Oceánicos de España, ENERMAR is the premier event for naval and ocean engineers and marine renewable energy professionals. This year’s event, held in Viana do Castelo, Portugal, was the 15th annual ENERMAR Technical Conference and Beridi had the pleasure of attending and presenting at the prestigious conference.

Diego Mateos took part in a panel discussion on Industrialization Challenges and Solutions: Ports, Operations and Supply Chains and showcased Beridi’s TRIWIND floating platform technology. With its unique design facilitating enhanced slip-forming construction, TRIWIND floaters can be produced at virtually any port in the world, using local materials and suppliers. Reducing CAPEX by ~50% and enabling mass production at speed, our innovative tech overcomes the challenges facing the floating offshore wind sector and delivers durable, cost-effective and scalable solutions.

Founded by the Marine Energy Working Group, the event is focused on renewable energies of marine origin and the increasingly important role marine renewable energies can play in building a sustainable future. This year’s theme, ‘The Ocean and Renewable Energies: The contribution of naval architecture and marine engineering’, highlighted the critical role that technical professionals play in realizing the potential of floating offshore wind and other renewable marine energies.

As always, ENERMAR was a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge, gain insights and meet with colleagues from across the sector. This year, we were particularly honored to be asked to present Beridi’s TRIWIND floating offshore wind technology and our thanks go out to the hosts and organizers for another successful ENERMAR event!
