Beridi will conduct the world’s first demonstration of compatibility between a floating wind design and the slipforming construction method. This groundbreaking demonstration will mark a significant milestone in the development of offshore wind technologies.
Scheduled to take place in early 2025, we’ll use slip-forming to showcase the suitability of this construction technique to fabricate our TRIWIND floating platforms.
Already a proven construction method in the maritime and offshore sectors, slip-forming has not yet been used extensively in the production of floating offshore wind platforms.
However, the unique design of our TRIWIND platform enables slip-forming to be used for a greater proportion of the fabrication process, thus reducing costs and accelerating production times.
