Triwind obtains approval in principle statement from Bureau Veritas

After a thorough process of joint work between Beridi and the certification company Bureau Veritas, we can finally announce that the TRIWIND technology has successfully passed the review process and has obtained the Approval In Principle declaration.

By obtaining this declaration, the first and necessary stage of certification of the technology is now completed, thus demonstrating the validity of the use of TRIWIND technology to serve as a floating base for the largest wind turbines on the market.

The approval in principle was granted after Bureau Veritas evaluation of the current design of the TRIWIND technology, carried out by verifying its compliance with the current industry standards and specifications. The evaluation has taken into account the relevant aspects related with the stability and the structural strength of the concept, and these were analyzed for two different locations: the Gulf of Maine (United States) and the Canary Islands (Spain), both for a return period of 50 years.
